My boyfriend and I always pass by this Japanese stall along west gate. That day, we were looking for a place to have lunch and decided to try it out!

I wasn't having a lot of expectation to the food because it doesn't appear to be very 'delicious' to me. haha.

Their noodles are handmade and called H Noodle. I read it on their board. What is so special about this H noodle? I have no idea! I don't really like the noodle. But, their soup base is really NOT BAD. I can't say it was fantastic so the best words to describe it is NOT BAD.

Duck Ramen $13.90

Ok, the duck was really tasty! I hate that they are so stingy with the number of duck meat they gave me! Only 3 pieces in each bowl. That two fried brown rectangular pieces in the bowl there were NOT BAD as well. However, you will get sick of the heavy pig oil taste after having one piece. But i was surprised by myself to be even eating a whole piece up because i normally consider this food to be unhealthy (so i won't eat and also because they are fried. I don't eat a lot of fried food). So i ate one piece and a half. The fragrance of it was really nice.

I would rate the duck meat to be the first (9.5/10) , then the soup base (8.5/10), then the noodle (8/10) and lastly that rectangular piece (7/10). haha.

Black Garlic Ramen Set ($13.90)

PATHETIC FOR MY BF HE ONLY GOT ONE PIECE OF PORK! There aren't much difference between the normal soup base and the black one. But you will notice that slight difference in the addition of ingredient in the black garlic soup base.

Rate 8/10. I wanted to rate 8.5/10 but i deducted 0.5 marks BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE PIECE OF MEAT SERVED. And the food is not SUPER NICE too. So..... as a commoner, you will know how i feel. haha. Anw, the half boiled egg can be improved too. Timing wasn't right.
This is their H noodle.

Pathetic gyoza also super small piece. Nothing much to say about gyoza. Didn't surprise me so i guess it is the same with the ones you eat outside.

And below is the Menu.

I might try this the next time because i really love the duck meat! So now that i have told you about my experience dining here, you won't be surprised if you are served with very little ingredients. That is just their style.

Sakae Sushi Buffet

Sushi buffet with my aunty and my baby cousin at Orchard Gateway! Well, not a baby anymore but he is still a baby to me. We ordered all the food we could.

Adults are entitled to 1 red plate and 2 pink plates for the buffet.
Must order Chawamushi

Must order fried tofu

just trying this out. It is scallop. I say 7/10 for taste!

The thing about buffet is that since you get to eat as much as you want, you want to avoid rice as much as possible. hahaha.

That was all that we could eat. I wish we could order some more but we were too full by then. I am not entirely please with the food because honestly, they don't taste that delicious. Wish Genki Sushi can have a buffet like this too. I will whack all their salmons and prawns!!!

Alright, this is just a short post. There are not much to talk about food. It is either GOOD or BAD. The pictures do most of the talking.

Tomorrow is Sunday! Enjoy the weekend :) xx

The Look

Cheers to Midweek soon! Here are the details of my outfit that day to MBS. Wore something casual and just in case it gets cold, i took a sweater along.

Jumpsuit: The Editors Market
Sweater: Cotton On
Sunglass: H&M
Watch: Micheal Kors

My cousin wants to join in too. hahaha. He is so cute! Love him so much.

Alright, will blog again soon. Things have not been quite smooth recently. I'm quite troubled with my grades now and i'm trying to figure out a way to it. Should i take 4 2 subjects per year or 3 3 subjects per year? If i take 2 subjects the last year, i can do a part time job. But i am afraid if i can still focus in school. Anyway, students who are taking 3 subjects are doing a full time job. I should have more confidence in myself. My results really disappoint me but i've done all my best. No regrets in how i studied except that i could start earlier.

6 months ago, i was a very lazy girl at home. I don't volunteer to do housework. At most i would hang my own clothes and pack my room a little. That's it. It is rare that i would pack and clean my entire room on a regular basis. That was how i was! And that is just my room. What about my living room and kitchen? Neh~~ It was really none of my business. Due to several family reasons, i chose to neglect the living room and the kitchen cleaning part.

It was until when my sister went overseas for her internship that i started cleaning up. I remember clearly that the first house chore i did was CLEANING THE TOILET. Before that, i have never cleaned a toilet. I choose not to! Why must i clean the toilet?! It is dirty and i feel like my body would stick with all the germs. yucks.

So my sister was going internship for 6 months in Shanghai and that was when i started cleaning the house. And this 'cleaning disease' gets more and more serious. It got more serious these few weeks. haha.

I packed the whole kitchen. Cleaning up, rearranging all the stuff and throwing away stuff. Wait, when i pack, i tend to throw away things. Things that won't be used are a waste of space. I am definitely not a hoarder. So when i packed, my sister and i would always quarrel. She likes to keep things and i like to throw away things.

Just to remind you i am only 21 years old.

Here's what I did after i woke up this morning:

1.  I went to the NTUC to buy ingredients for tonight's dinner and other stuff (actually i do this a lot so it doesn't really matter when i am carrying 6 bags of groceries and walking on the street. Yup, i always feel weird when I'm doing groceries shopping because I DON'T SEE PEOPLE AT MY AGE DOING SUCH STUFF!)

2.  After packing all my ingredients in the fridge, i made French Toast and a cup of TWG Tea for myself. Yeah... that's what housewife do in the afternoon right? That is call High Tea. It is the time when you feel like a royalty.

Btw my french toast taste awesome today!!! This is just my 4th try haha.

3. After feeling like a royalty, i was back to reality. It is time to prepare ingredients for tonight's soup!

Just dump in everything and let it boil. But the cleaning after that annoys me. You know, you have to wash all that bowls that you use to wash the stuff. You have to keep the kitchen clean!

4. After throwing in all those ingredients into the water, i washed the clothes.

Not one round but TWO ROUNDS of washing. If there is space to hang later, its probably a three round.

Washed the clothes, take all the dry clothes back, hang the dry clothes back to cupboard, time to hang the wet clothes.

5. After that, i made my daily green smoothie. Took all the ingredients, washed them and dump them into the mixer. Didn't drink them straight after because i had to wash that mixer and the chop board and plates. By then i feel like wtf my hands are so dried up already. All that dishwasher soap and soaking my hands in the water. Sigh... life of a 'housewife'.

Almost finishing my smoothie. Great for the skin!

6. I then vacuum and mop the whole house. Basically,  i just cleaned my whole house. From the TV bench to the floor. Thank god i don't have to change my bed sheet and wash the toilet because i did that yesterday. LOL. Sometimes i wonder why am i doing this. But i can see why...

7. I made pizza for tonight's dinner!

Alright, that's all i did until now. And i guess i won't be doing more stuff as i have already did almost all the stuff.

After reading this whole bunch of words, what is the morale of this post?

Count yourself lucky if you have a mum at home doing all the housework for you. I believe that some 25 years old adults are still depending on their mother to do all the houseworks. Respect your mum for keeping the home clean and neat. They spent a lot of time packing and cleaning the house! Besides, packing and cleaning is a consistent thing. She throws the garbage bag for you daily and cleans the kitchen daily. Sometimes, she wash the clothes daily too. She mops the floor regularly, cleans the toilet for you and cook meals for you too.

In addition, she loves you too. Can you imagine doing housework everyday and they weren't appreciated? They can go out to work and make new friends but they choose to save the money of not hiring a maid, just for the family.

I did like a 4 hours 30 minutes of housework non stop straight after waking up today. I think i will be really disappointed if this effort is not appreciated. I will feel even more upset if  (imagine now i am a mum and i have a secondary school child who is very rebellious) my child doesn't listen to me. Oh wait now imagine my husband comes home late and always quarrel with you... Ok wait... that's a bit too far. BUT STILL! My main point is that APPRECIATE ALL THOSE WORK DONE FOR YOU.

They do it without complain and they do it FOR THE HOUSE. FOR THE HOME.

So what you should do today is to simply say a

These are simple yet powerful words. Say it today. It takes less than 5 seconds?

Now that my mum is not living in Singapore with us, i do tend to miss her cleaning the house for us. She does a really good job in this. I admit i take her hard work for granted when i was younger. You may not notice that your study desk are being packed or that the empty toilet roll is being replaced, all these minor things are taken for granted.

Those living in better life (with a maid) shouldn't take your maid for granted as well. Of course you pay them for doing all the work but their level of work goes with how much is being appreciated too.

Alright, i have said all that i wanted to say. Honestly i kinda hesitated blogging this because it makes me feel so sad! But i just want everyone to know the importance of little effort done for you and be appreciative of it. Life is not easy. Those living in the green house certainly take a lot of things for granted.

Marina Bay Sands (Singapore)

Guess I am here in the photo below! Yeap... I was at Marina Bay Sands. My relative booked a room to experience the luxury lifestyle at MBS. Plus, they wanna go to the casino so why not!? haha.
Waiting for the room to be packed. If you checked in earlier, you get rooms on the lower level. We waited till around 3pm to get a room on the higher level.

My baby cousin and me ^^ . And i realised i have wrinkles on the eye!! Did you notice it? My cousin knows how to pose super well. He likes to act cool and he loves taking photos. I hope he don't turn out too woman-liked when he grows up. (><) .

We were talking about him immigrating to Singapore for education purposes. And then we started talking about Singapore guys getting into NS. He knows that army is tough and he hates it. Sometimes i wonder what is on this 8 year old boy's mind. His thinking is really quite surprising! I told him all guys have to enrol into the army when he turns 18. Have to go for field camp and do all sorts of difficult things. Guess what he told me? He says he will commit suicide if he goes to the army so he will never become a Singaporean. LOL.

Oh adding on, he says "You better not force me to go to the army. I will commit suicide. I WARN YOU!!"

What is on his little mind???! I never know that an 8 year old boy can say such things. At that moment, i didn't know whether to laugh or scold him for saying such things.

Yes, 8 year old. Knows all sorts of funny face pose.

And even knows how to eat my hair.

Ok going back to MBS.

My bf came over too.

We have not been up on the 57th floor. This is our virgin trip! And this is after one year of being together. So, we have to take more pictures! (Or perhaps its just me who wants to take more pictures. He never likes taking pictures and never really like helping me to take pictures too. And this is the sad part. He can take a few but if you want some more, he will give you the face "I don't want to take anymore." And you know thats the time to stop and go emo)

Wearing my new necklace!!! The word KACEY is hand written by me and then made into a necklace. 100% handmade. I plated the name pendant black too but it isn't total black. But anyhow, i love it!!! I've been wearing this everyday.

My cousin sure knows how to enjoy. With his oversized tee. hahahahaa.

All taken by my cousin! I think he is talented in photography. haha. Really sad that they are leaving this Thursday otherwise he can help me take all my outfit photo. HAHA. I just need someone to press that shoot button for me at home.

Someone please help me photoshop away all the people. I think the swimming pool is so crowded today! And its only Tuesday.

Ok last picture.

I'm sorry i'm not blogging the past few days! You see... i don't always hang out now so my life isn't very interesting like the rest. However, when i go out, i will definitely blog. Yup... Recently, i just love staying at home. Maybe it is because i find it too tiring to be going out everyday and spending all the unnecessary money.

Ok Thanks for reading! xx
